"First things first: The owners of The Booster were simply a pleasure to work with and the space had just everything we needed for our event to be successful.
Not only this event drew lots of people but it was the fruit of a community effort and being The Booster located on Baker Street its position made it really easy to find for a lot of people who didn't know about this studio.
The space is impeccable and functional and the owners guided our crew into all the logistics and housekeeping, the event attendance was huge and none left feeling disappointed. We had everything we needed for our bake sale table, our musicians and our info booths.
I am personally looking forward to keeping working with The Booster as this experience inspired me, because when art and heart are meeting there is always something magical to be expected."
Shorter performance of Sophie's new contemporary dance piece, called Whirrr, premiered on May 15th, 2025. Whirrr is a bold and interactive exploration of what happens when dancers, musicians, and the audience co-create something alive, raw, and real. This experimental performance blends contemporary dance, live music, and poetry to explore the tension and beauty between individuality and collectivity — asking how we can be truly ourselves while still belonging to something greater.
