Next Thursday, November 20, beginning at 6:30 p.m., you’re invited to attend a free seminar, entitled “Introverts & Extroverts: Different Types, Different Stresses”.
This free public education seminar, presented by Halton Healthcare as part of their “Living Healthy” series, features David Posen, Stress Specialist, and takes place at LeDome Banquet Hall, located at 1173 North Service Road East in Oakville.
This event has been organized by Halton Healthcare Services (Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital site) in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
In 1985, Posen gave up his general practice to devote his time exclusively to stress management, lifestyle counseling and psychotherapy.
He has spoken widely to education, government, business, and professional groups across North America and is the author of three best-selling books: “Always Change a Losing Game”, “Staying Afloat When the Water Gets Rough” and, most recently, “The Little Book of Stress Relief”.
This presentation will explore the differences and discuss the implications for each group.
• Does being outgoing mean that you are an extrovert?
• Which group is more prone to procrastinate?
• How do caffeine and alcohol affect each group?
Introversion and extroversion affects all aspects of our lives: how we do our work, how we interact with others, and even how we manage our energy.
This presentation will help you to know yourself better—and to understand the other people in your life.
Displays and refreshments begin at 6:30 p.m. and the seminar commences at 7 p.m.
